What should I really do with my life?

>>Today is Simply Fearless Friday and I am pleased to feature guest blogger Beth Bracaglia, founder of Simply Organized.<<
One of my favorite quotes of all time is:
“The minute you begin to do what you really want to do, it truly becomes a different kind of life”.
I really do believe that I live my life with this quote in mind, each and every day. It’s so important to do what you love, because it really does make work fun – the time goes by quickly every week and it makes life more enjoyable as a whole.
I’ve done many things in my career from being a College Program intern at Walt Disney World and a Presidential Intern for the President of Clemson to post college work in Retail Management, Technical Recruiting, Training & Development and Project Management where I designed and built commercial kitchens. But, none of that work was my true passion – and that was the problem.
I lived each day wondering “what should I really do with my life?” I was fearful to take the big step and start my own business until I realized that life is definitely too short to not do what you really want to do. We only get one chance to make it happen for ourselves. I did so much soul searching, reading, and learning to help me to get to where I am today and I know for sure that without that reflective time to help figure it all out, and the growth that comes along with it, I know I wouldn’t be as strong or where I am today.
I continue to learn each and every day – from my family, friends, clients, and through the amazing people that I meet around town and through the internet. The connections that have been made all throughout my life and my career have helped me get to this truly amazing place. I make a point of:
- helping others,
- being grateful for all that I have, and
- passing it forward.
I really don’t know how to live any other way. So, I guess that is what makes me now, Beth from Simply Organized who is Simply Fearless about moving forward and moving up!
